Alpha Bears is a new Special Olympics Agency team for Region I, serving the Mattoon, Charleston and surronding area cities. Current Sports offered Bowling, Aquatics, Athletes, Softball, Basketball , Bocce, flag football. Join the Alpha Bears Special Olympics team. If you have an individual with a learning disablity of any age and they love sports but does not get many opportunties to play. Join the team. Join the fun. Any questions please contact me or the Special Olympic Area 9 office in Charleston. If you think they may be able to join but are not for sure contact me because most likely they can participate.
